PostMeta Viewer by WpWebGuru

See every custom field WordPress stored.

PostMeta Viewer is a read-only inspector for post meta. Browse keys and values for posts, terms, users and comments, and debug ACF, Pods or Toolset data without touching the database.

  • Free, GPLv2 or later
  • WordPress 5.6+ and PHP 7.4+
  • Version 1.1

Everything meta, in one place.

A clean, developer-friendly view of what is really stored.

  • Complete meta overview

Browse all posts, pages and custom post types with their custom field counts.

  • Detailed inspection

Open any post, term, user or comment to see every meta key and value.

  • Search and filter

Search titles, content, keys and values. Filter by post type, status, date range, key or value type: string, array, JSON, numeric or empty.

  • Readable values

Serialized, array and JSON values are formatted, with a beautify toggle that expands them inline.

  • Read-only by design

It never modifies or deletes data, so it is safe to use on production sites.

  • Settings and access

Choose which roles can use it, hide internal keys that start with an underscore, and set items per page.

Inspect meta where you edit.

A Custom Fields Inspector box appears on the screens you already use. Each location can be switched on or off.

ScreenWhat you see
